Reflecting the area in which it is set, this stylish villa is a wonderful combination of stunning verdant scenery and sophisticated glamour. Just minutes from the glitz and glamour of Cannes, Nice and Monaco, the aptly named ‘Wide Open Space’ is a haven of peace and tranquillity. It benefits from a unique architectural design that allows each room to boast beautiful south-facing views of the Provencal scenery through floor to ceiling windows offering direct access to the 8,000 square metres of gardens and large outdoor pool.
The living space is large, airy and open plan with widescreen satellite TV, DVD player, CD player, broadband internet, and telephone in the lounge, plus a dining table and chairs, breakfast bar, oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher in the kitchen. The master bedroom is a wonderfully spacious room with large en-suite (sink, bath, toilet, shower), whilst the second and third bedrooms are both large, bright and airy double/twins (set-up as required). The fourth bedroom is a bright modern studio, accessed through a separate door in the master suite and can be set up as a single bedroom, a nursery or a study. The main bathroom is large with a 'wet room', walk-in shower and separate WC. Outside the 8,000 square metres of land are completely private with beautiful uninterrupted panoramic views. There is a large swimming pool and poolhouse equipped with outdoor kitchen, plus a contemporary landscaped garden with tables, chairs and loungers
Although it enjoys uninterrupted views, the villa is conveniently located on the edge of the picturesque and historic town of Montauroux, which was founded over 1,000 years ago by the Grimaldi family who still reign today in Monaco under Prince Albert. It’s also the birthplace and final resting place of Christian Dior. Closer still is the Four Seasons Provence with its golf course and the spa, which are both said to be amongst the best in Europe. The restaurant, headed up by Michelin star winner, Philippe Jourdin, is quite an attraction too.
Yet, despite the lure of the glitz and glamour of the French Riviera or the charming medieval towns and villages, most hens don't venture far from the stylish outdoor pool and sundeck!
The villa is just 30 minutes drive from Nice airport, some miles inland from the coast mid-way between Esterel and Cannes (20 minutes). It sleeps 6-8 guests and can be rented year-round with prices range from £1,000-£2,750 for stays of up to a week. Spa breaks and weekend breaks can be arranged on request.
