This chic retreat is nestled in the heart of the stunning New Forest National Park and whilst you may not find fairies at the bottom of the bottom of the garden, you may well find wild ponies or deer, both of which wander freely in this scenic and peaful part of the world. Inside, the glamorous slipper bath, grand French antique-style bed and open-fire makes the cottage a romantic bolthole that you’ll rush home to to after woodland walks or seaside strolls – many beautiful beaches are within a short drive.
Mod cons include a flat screen TV, Freeview, Nespresso coffee maker, breadmaker, DVD player, CD and radio players, free wireless broadband and printer. There are also luxury touches in the form of sumptuous bath robes and a welcome pack with delicious breakfast produce, Bendicks Mints, fresh flowers and that all important first night bottle of wine – get that bath running!
A short walk from Twin Cottage brings you to the centre of Burley village where, if you wish, you can hire a bicycle made for two, view galleries, buy essentials and sample home cooking in one of the cluster of tea houses. A littel further a field, the nearby town of Lymington is brimming with yachty chic and indpendent bistros and boutiques including: The Vanilla Bean Café, for brunch; Pod for interiors goodies; Lymington Larder for fire-side deli nibbles; and Lulu’s for girlie gifts, handbags, jewellery and bath and bed items. For evenings out, try contemporary dining at Wisteria Bar and Restaurant (Lymington), or the scenic Mill at Gordleton, whilst, Long’s Jazz Cellar (Lymington) is recommended for live music
The cottage has two bedrooms and can be rented per week or for weekend and mid-week short breaks, year round. Prices are from £495 - £1,225 depending on duration and time of stay.
