This cluster of three luxuriously converted barns (sleeping 5, 5 & 8) beachside on Anglesey's ruggedly beautiful North West coast is perfect for active hens looking to combine relaxation and indulgence with outdoor activities. Along with decadent details such as solid wood floors, marble bathrooms and underfloor heating, hens will arrive to find Champagne on ice and a cute pyjama party pack complete with girlie chick flicks, popcorn, a chocolate fondue kit and marshmallows. After arrival night bonding there's numerous opportunities to build up an appetite the next day from horse-riding, sailing, wind surfing, kite surfing and mountain climbing, to 4x4 days and go-karting. Or continue the indulgent theme with champagne picnics on the beach, spa days at the Guinot spa at nearby Tre-Ysgawen Hall and fresh lobster suppers at the Lobster Pot restaurant, within a few minutes walk of the barns.
The three barns are all within stumbling distance of the sea; in fact you can hear the waves from the dinner table in some of them! The smaller two, 'Daisy Moo' and 'Buttercup', each feature a double with ensuite and a twin room, plus a 'crog loft' above the spacious lounges with a single bed. They share a large patio area perfect for pre-dinner drinks. The largest barn, 'Big Moo', has a double with ensuite and two twins sharing a large bathroom, plus two single fold-out beds. It has a lovely garden with BBQ and, like the others, a spacious lounge with comfy sofas, flatscreen TVs, DVD player and Freesat.
Cottage manager, Emily is happy to help arrange activities from kite-surfing, windsurfing and sailing to horse-riding, 4x4 driving, go-karting and even flying lessons Pamper parties in the cottages can be arranged, but highly recommended is the Guinot Spa at nearby Tre-Ysgawen Hall, which has a Roman-style pool, steam room, sauna and whirlpool, as well as indulgent treatments using Guinot, Jessica, Algologie and Karaja products. The Barns are set on the Carreglwyld Estate and Murder Mystery, Ghost Tours and Wine Tasting in the Manor House can be arranged on request. Anglesey has some excellent restaurants including the Lobster Pot, which is within a mile of the barns, the award-winning White Eagle, The newly refurbished Sea Croft gastro pub and the Waterfront Restaurant at Treaddur Bay. Alternatively, dine 'at home' on local delicacies such as lobster and crab cooked by private chef
