This glorious baroque folly and its enchanting gardens seems a fairytale world away from modern life, despite the fact it's convienently located just a few miles from the M5 (J26). There's something remincent of a scene from Midsummer Night's Dream about its beautiful grounds, which exploration uncovers a host of delights from a lovely heated outdoor swimming pool, all-weather tennis courts, boules pitch and a croquet lawn. Then there's the sunny terrace perfect for arrival or post ceremony Pimms drinking. Whilst the opulent interiors, roaring log fires and beautiful surroundings make it wonderfully cosy and deeply romantic in a vintage luxury kind of way. All in all it seems a magical location for a glamorous small wedding whether in winter or in summer.

Weddings at Bindon require the exclusive hire and cost £1,950 mid week and £2,250-£2,950 on Fridays or Saturdays (price varies according to season). Included in the price is accommodation for up to 24 adults and six children, with breakfast. Hire of the Orangery, Bonaparte Lounge or Minstrel Hall for a ceremony is £295 and wedding breakfast packages (3-courses or buffet) at £39.95 per head, with wine from £15 per bottle and Champagne from £32 per bottle. Evening buffets are from £5.95 per head. A minimum two night booking rule applies between May 1 - Sept 30 and three nights minimum during bank holiday weekends.
